Easy Key Lime Pie



Easy Key Lime Pie

1 graham cracker pie crust (the smaller one)
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs yolks
1/2 C. lime juice
1/2 C. sugar
pinch of cream of tarter

Combine the condensed milk, egg yolks and lime juice. Pour into the pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks begin to form, add in the sugar and cream of tarter. Continue beating till you achieve standing stiff peaks. Remove pie and top with the meringue and return to over for 5-7 minutes or until topping begins to brown. Let cool for 20 minutes on the counter then place in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
